Nearly 160 people are feared dead after a passenger jet crashed on landing in the southern Indian city of Mangalore.
Air India Express said there were seven survivors among the 160 passengers and six crew on board its Boeing 737 arriving from Dubai.
The plane overshot the hilltop runway as it tried to land and burst into flames in a forested valley beyond.

It indeed is sad. Kudos to those who were able to save themselves and not only that, they tried to help others too.

on the side note, I kept waiting for Indian govt to blame PK or Muslims...

The same was going through my mind that, perhaps at any moment, the Indian government would come forward and blame Pakistan for this crash.

They couldn't blame PK because of the statements from the survivers, I guess. Also, I think it was quite obvious that it was an accident. There must be something otherwise they wouldn't just let it go...

Hmmm,if the accident had happened while the aircraft was still flying in the sky, then yes,Pakistan would have surely be blamed for this. But, for this accident, there was no way that Pakistan could be blamed.
