In Gulf,i believe, Dubai has been worst affected by recession

And the Gulf country which is least affected is perhaps Qatar

hi . dubai is most hit , all the construction projects have stopped , and contractors dont have work because they are not getting paid . also , dubai is heavily in debt and i believe the emirate of abu dhabi holds 10 billion dollars of dubai as debt .

other news of gulf regions is that united states secretary geithner recently made a trip to saudi arabia and countries in the middle east promoting the strength of dollar and assuring them that it is best to hold denominations in dollar value . geithner was basically a government missionary and gave weak examples of strengths of dollar .
