PakFuse Video Junction : How to Embed - TUTORIAL

Welcome to PakFuse Video Junction; Your one-stop video entertainment section of the forum.

Here are all available Video embedding BBCodes for the external sites. This thread will be updated as more BBCodes will be added during the passage of time. We also encourage our dear PakFusers not to hesitate in suggesting any missing BBCode that need to be embedded.

In the following examples, the code in URL, which needs to be extracted and be used inside the BBCode, is highlighted in bold red color for members' convenience.

1. Google Video:

Example URL: http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docid=-1408602227918913001

The BBCode:

PHP Code:

2. Youtube Video:

Example URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5aIi3OqOJU

Often you will see more than the above red code in the URL section of the browser... You should always ignore anything starting from "&" symbol and just copy the code between "v=" and "&" ...

There are two BBCodes available for youtube videos:

PHP Code:

  [youtube]T5aIi3OqOJU[/youtube]

OR

PHP Code:

  [yt]T5aIi3OqOJU[/yt]

3. Guba Video

Example URL: http://www.guba.com/watch/3000088495

The BBCode:

PHP Code:

4. LiveLeak Video

Example URL: http://www.liveleak.com/e/f36_1232016823

The BBCode:

PHP Code:

  [liveleak]f36_1232016823[/liveleak]

5. MetaCafe

Example URL: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/2366112/football_best_saves_by_goal_keepers_this_month

The BBCode:

Remember NOT to use the last "/" at the end of the URL when pasting the code inside the BBCode

6. Myspace Video (http://vids.myspace.com):
