Here is one of my all time favorites....





woh IshQ jo hum se RooTh'gaya Ab us ka haaL baTain kia
koi mehar nahi koi Qehar phir sacha shair suna'ain kia

Ek Hijar jo humko LahaQ hai Ta'daiR usay dhooRa'ain kia
woh zehaaR jo Dil mein utar lia phir uske naaz Utha'ain kia

Ek aaGh Ghum-e-Tanhaii ki Jo Sare Badan mein phel'gaee
Jab jism hi saRa jalta ho Phir daman-e-dil ko bacha'ain kia

Hum naghma sar kuch ghazalon kay . hum surat gaar kuch khwaabon kay
bay-jazbaay shoq suna'ain kia . koi khwaab na ho tu bata'ain kiaa

Tum se ulfaat kay taqa'zay na Nibaa'ay jahtay
warna hum ko bee tamana thee kay chahay ja'tay

dil kay maraoon ka na kar ghum k yea andoh-naseeb
zakhum bi na dil mein hota tu kharaa'ay ja'tay

de na muhlaaT humhain Hasthi ne wafaaa ki warna
or kuch din ghum-e-hasti se nibah-ay ja'tay

Dasht-e-tanhaee main ai jaan-e-jahaan larzaaN haiN
Teri aavaaz kay saaey, teray honton kay saraab
Dasht-e-tanhaee main dooree kay khas-o-khaak talay
Khil rahay hain teray pehlou kay saman or gulaab

Uth rahee hai kaheen qurbat say teri saaNs kee aanch
Apnee khushboo main sulagti hooee madham madham
Door ufaq paar chamaktee hooee qatra qatra
Gir rahee hai teri dildaar nazar kee shabnam

Is qadar payaar say ai jaan-e-jahaan rakha hai
Dil kay rukhsaar pay is waqt teri yaad ne haath
YooN gumaan hota hai gerchay hai abhee subh-e-firaaq
Dhal gaya hijr ka din aa bhi gaii wasl ki raat.

I'm not into ghazalein & poetry but I just love the combination of Faiz's poetry, Nayyara Noor's singing & Arshad Mahmood's composition. Tina Sani does the justice as well.

One of my fav: Raat yuN dil mein........ (i don't understand it well though)
