My PS restarts by itself a number of times in a day.Can anyone tell me what exactly might be the problem & how to fix it.

PS:aik PC kharaab hoo chuka hai. this is an even older one.

There could be many reasons.

- Heating up... check if fans are working properly. Clean it from any dirt inside and around the fans.

- Problem with RAM ... if you have more than one RAMS, try switching the places.

- Hard Drive is dying out. May be need to either format it or buy a new one.

- Power supply can be going bad.

I had tried out all the other options except the 2nd one with the other PC & now its motherboards messed up.
