no not a desi forum , mine has universal appeal . How do I do it. Do I need some programming skills to do that or vBulletin is drag and drop kind of bulletin tool ?

what do you mean there are more than 6 billion people on this earth. There many kinds of forums which people need but they have not been started by people.

From personal experience:

If you have strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, Image manipulation, atleast basic command on one programming language (PHP know-how is a big big plus), then, running vBulletin is FUN

but if you do not know any of above, then, you can still run a forum only that it may remain at default non-attractive template or you will have to get free skins or buy one but then, there will be many things that you will feel handicapped about though vBulletin can be run as is anyway....

I can hire programmers from India to spice up my forum a little later. I already have some working for me on other project. For now I wish to run it out of the box. I want recommendation on some reliable vBulletin host. All help will be appreciated.

any webhosting company which is running php 5 with mySQL 5 should do unless you have your own dedicated hardware with required php and mySQL.

I have a few forums and a few "examples of forums" also for clients. Its no fun if you dont know php. AQ is right.

But if you know enough about coding etc etc and been in IT long enough you can do quite a bit of manipulation of code even if you dont know how to write it from scratch.

UlteeKhopree...dont just jump into it if you havent done some technical reading on it.
