Ajab junon-e-musafat maiN ghar se nikla tha,

Khabar nahi k suraj kidhar se nikla tha...!

Ye kon phir se mujhe raastoN maiN chorr gya?

Abhi abhi to azab-e-safar se nikla tha....!

Ye teer dil mai magar be-sabab nahi utra,

Koi to harf lab-e-charagar se nikla tha....!

Main raat toot k roya to chain se soya,

K dil ka zehr meri cahshm-e-tar se nikla tha....!

Wo Qais ab jisay MajnoN pukartay hain Sabhe,

Meri tarah koi deewana ghar se nikla tha.
