Raaz har ruNg maiN rusvaa hogaa

dil ke sehraa maiN chalee sard havaa
abr guLzaar paY barsaa hogaa

tum naheeN thaY tau sar-e-baam-e-Khayaal
yaad kaa koi sitaaraa hogaa

kiss tavaqqoh paY kissi ko dekhaiN
koi tum saY bhee haseeN kiya hogaa

zeenat-e-halqa-e-aaGhosh bano
duur baiTho gaY tau charchaa hogaa

zulmat-e-shab maiN bhee sharmaataY ho
dard chamkeY gaa tau phir kiyaa hogaa

jiss bhee funkaar kaa shaahakaar ho tum
uss naY sadiyoN tumhaiN sochaa hogaa

kiss qadar karb saY chaTkee hai kalee
ShaaKh saY guL koi TooTaa hogaa

um'r bhar roye faqat iss dhun maiN
raat beeti tau ujaalaa hogaa

saari duniyaa hamaiN pehchaanati hai
koi hum-saa bhee na tanhaa hogaa
