sochnay waali baat hai, haalaN kaY shaair naY maut kaY zik'r maiN jawaab tau daY hee diyaa hai

Beautiful posting ... specially with the Iste'aara of "boondaiN tapakna" even after the rain... connected to the departurre of the loved one.... kuch boondaiN aasmaan saY naheeN, aaNkhoN say bhee tapkaa karti haiN magar tum jaantaY ho, khushk aankhaiN sirf yaadoN kee barsaat hee kiyaa karti haiN....

Tarveni means?

Pardon my limited knowledge on urdu poetry but I have never come across this term before...

Tarveeni is actually not even an urdu word... [can't find in dictionary].

I will make an educated guess based on finding another Tarveeni online

... Correct me if I am wrong.

Here is the Tarveeni I found half of which seems the same as posted in original post:

Samina kia pata kitni baar maray gee
maiN tau bus zindagi se darta hooN
maut tau aik bar maaray gee

sa'b pay aati hay sa'b ki baari se
maut insaf ki alaamat hay
zindagi sa'b pay kiyoon naheen ati

So, is it ture that:

Tarveeni is term used in hindi poetry for a type of nazm that consists of two parts 3 lines each ... the first three lines discussing the specific subject matter and the last part a reflection and general thoughts on the first part related to even described in first?

i am not too deeply involved in poetic terms but for the tarveeni all i know is a type of nazm consisting three lines (triplet).

i don't know that whether it should consist only of three lines (pardon me for my lack of knowledge) but here is another poem consisting of numerous triplets

Teri soorat jo bhari rehti hai aankhon main sada
ajnabi log bhi pehchane say lagtay hain mujhay
tere rishton main to dunya hi piro li main nay

Aik say ghar hain sabhi, aik say hain bashanday
ajnabi shehar main kuch ajnabi lagta hi nahin
aik say dard hain sab aik say hi rishtay hain

Umar kay khail main ek tarfa hai ye rassa kashi
Ik sira mujh ko dia hota to kuch baat bhi thi
Mujh say tagda bhi hai aur samnay aata bhi nahin

Samnay aaye mere daikha mujhay baaat bhi ki
Muskarye bhi puranay kisi rishtay kay liye
Kal ka akhbar tha bas daikh liya rakh bhi diya

Wo meray saath hi tha duur tak magar ik din
Mud ke jo daikha to wo aur mere saath na tha
Jaib phat jaye to kuch sikkay bhi gir jate hain

Chaudhwain chand ko phir aag lagi hai daikho
Phir buhat dair talak aaj ujala ho ga
Raakh ho jaye ga jab phir say amawas ho gi
