should be part of my life ?

Is praying 5 times of salaat enough ? Is reading some part of Quran enough ? Should I be spending every moment of my life within the confines of Islam ? What are those Confines of Islams which dictate every moment of my life ?

Islam is a way of life. you just instill it in your everyday life & its simple & easy too.(i have to tell this to myself more often too)

One very religious scholar told me that if you are Muslim and you are fulfilling your mandatory obligations, like Namaaz , Roza , Hajj , Zakaat , and you do not cheat or lie and your income is halal and pure then all of your acts are Abaadat. Your sleep , your walk in the park , your hours of work , your hours of rest all are counted as abaadaat.
Allah knows the best.

how much religion should be part of our life?

I think all of it. Ibadah[salaat, saum hajj etc] is a part of religion but religion itself is not Ibadah. Every act should be done in accordance to our religious morals.

Every thing , if done as taught by our religion .... is an Ibadah ...

Even if a man/woman goes out to earn halal food for his/her family ... and this is an ibadah too!

That's true Aliyish because it's our intention that counts. 'Obligatory/mandatory worship' was the word that I should've used when I said Ibadah is a part of religion.

Do as much ibadah as possible. Nothing wrong with that. But for sure you have to live a life and earn a living also...so a good balance with more stress on ibadah is better.

There is a hadith ( not exact words here) that you should work towards 'worldy' acts equivalent to one wing of a mosquito. Meaning very less.

Allah knows best. We just present out ideas based on out limited knowledge.
