I am about to put PakFuse on notice. (Mohammad Sami) | | | Feb 2nd, 2009, 04:19 am | #2 (permalink) | | Member Join Date: Feb 2nd, 2009 - 03:44 am Posts: 2 | Mohammad Sami has a point. You seem as if you are an avid cricket fan, or were. You are not a believer in miracles but you like to argue endlessly with hard, stoned facts. Pakistan cricket have gotten a lot dependent on miracles so you cannot argue with these people. The traditions are forgotten, the captain relies on 1-2 players to win the match while arguing, just like you, the position of match-winners in the team like myself and how much they are of an asset. You have to realize that the amount of cricket Pakistan has on the FTP schedule is crowded down the road. You need influx of talent and mixture of home-bred fast bowlers who can play on for a long period of time without injuries. No one can fill that position better than someone who has been deserving of it, who have played international cricket, who have bowled at the top class batsmen in the world and induced fear in their eyes. You need to realize that life does not end at contract 'A'. Shoaib Akhtar cannot hold his contract and a cricket ball at the same time if his life was dependent on it. The deserving act and candidacy of myself is a great injustice to the cricket world. People deserve to see the new talent flourish and PCB have not done any appropriate job in that category, either. It is time to realize that your match-winners are your diamonds in the rough. You cannot separate your match-winners from the herds and herds of failed talent, half of whom are handed out contracts when their net worth is less than the room temperature at my house. Your match-winners like myself should walk into the team based on the credentials in domestic and not only that, the international credentials. You can take Mohammad Sami out of cricket but you cannot take cricket out of Mohammad Sami. Yes, he is that good. Once PCB realizes and releases the ICL bans making those players available for selection, you are the first one on their list. They will realize the true value of a match-winner of your caliber and they will tend to your every whim and tickle your fancy on demand. Hand in there, Sami beta. | | | Feb 12th, 2009, 11:39 pm | #10 (permalink) | | Professor Chaos !
