CricInfo commentary:

"It's a sell-out. People started coming in as early as four hours back. And this is a warm-up game. Go figure"

Wasim Akram starting off for Pakistan (in the commentary box).

Mohammad Amir, with a seal of approval from Wasim Akram, makes his debut. Slinging arm action.

Wasim Akram on today's affairs:

"I was walking outside a little while ago and all the Pakistani supporters asked me, what is wrong (with Pakistan team) today? I said I don't know man, I am not playing, I am commentating."

Seam, swing and bounce all over the place. Run-out appeal, just got home.

Went to the bathroom for a minute and ball crashed on the off-stump.

"It would be sad if we don't make it, but I have never attached too much importance to Twenty20 cricket, as it is fun cricket. I mean it is more for entertainment, even if it is international cricket. It is all for the crowd."

CricInfo: Toss: Pakistan have chosen to bat. They need to win by 25 runs to go through.

Need everyone here to start off the match.

I can't pick out why Wasim praises a batsman to the moon on a shot for four. It is like 4-5 sentences of praise in a row, and then next ball, he has no clue what he just said.

Brett Lee: 149.5

Dirk Nannes (Netherlands): 150.3

Afridi in at 152-4.

Two overs left, should be plenty of time for Afridi to reach a half-century.

19.3, leg-stump carted.

Not sure how a total of 171 can be defended, let alone by more than 25-run margin. 3 balls to go.

And Wasim Akram pronounced Nannes as "Nainaas".
