The story goes like this.
Wife of a guy would not listen to him and would nag and nag the day light out of him. On the contrary his best friends wife was very much under that friends control. So this guy asked his friend his secret.
The guy said the day we got married and went home we were having dinner and our pet cat jumped on the table and started eating out of the serving dish I told the cat to get off the table and go to her box but the cat did not listen so I took my gun out and killed the cat.
My wife saw all that and she never ever dared disobey me or make me angry.

So this other guy listened to the story and went home he too had a pet cat. So he came home and ordered the cat to get out the house , the cat did not listen so this guy took his gun out and killed the cat.
His wife saw that and hit him on the head with the frying pan saying that you idiot you killed the innocent little kitty.
This guy went back to his friend and told him the whole incident. So the friend said :
"Gurba Kushtan roz a awal" Billi ko pahlay he din marna cha e a. If you kill it later on it does not matter.
This is a very famous persian language idiom and story.
