A thought process I went under on June 16, 2008
As I prayed Faj'r a while back, I found myself in the feet of Allah Jallah Shaanahu... I feared from HIM..
But then after supplications, I started pondering about it - reflected upon my thoughts of being feared from Allah...
Do we really fear HIM? This fear is not a fear of being afraid but a fear with someone who is so dear to you that you do not want to do something which he or she does not admire...
Do we?
I looked at life all around me... Even if it is fear as being afraid, do we even feel the same when praying to Allah
the way we feel when talking to our parents, teachers, boss, Police, Judge and people of such stature...????
So, one example, rather a question came in mind....
Does Allah
like that when we interact with a person whom we call friend, we admire him but when we go to some of our private gatherings where that friend is not there, we start making fun of him with other friends, going hands in hands with people who have disease of grudge in their hearts for your friend?
We all agree to the answer but I can not ever understand the reality.... *sigh*
Is our imaan so much dead?
Don't we realize that in such a situation, we end up telling lies as well and Telling lies is a trait of a hypocrite according to Prophet
?
How easily we make ourselves a hypocrite?
That led to another question: Is being hypocrite like being two-faced?
Anyway, thoughts are killer sometimes...
A precious person gave me some advices:
"i strongly feel if you let Allah miyan be your gawah, and clear your heart from all hatred and negative feelings .. you can not only get through it strongly .. but you can get through it with a peace of mind .. it will make you stronger inside out"
As right about now, I ponder upon the above words, I look outside of the window, darkness is going away... The Sun will come out soon... The Dawn is Near
