Amabel, you stand corrected. It was a toss-up between a six and 3 runs, not a boundary which I incorrectly mentioned.
The verdict? ICC says that the
fielding effort was legal, resulting in only 3 runs.
Why it was given as such? Read the user comments at the end of the article. I am still trying to read and understand myself.
