There are many parallels between this character and the philosophy of self awareness in terms of physical attributes of Falcon.
A falcon is self aware of his ruling power as opposed to a vulture which is mentioned in Iqbal's poetry as something a complete opposite of a Falcon, as Iqbal truely said:
perwaaz hay dono ki issi ek faza mein
kargas ka jahan aur hay, shaheen ka jahan aur
Falcon gets his provision on his own power, which is a sign of khudi whereas, a vulture depends upon dead meat, a sign in itself that vulture, unlike falcon, does not have any ambition to achieve anything or fight for it. |
